Hot weather to continue with rain in parts of PH—Pagasa By Frances Mangosing INQUIRER.net 10:48 am | Tuesday, April 23rd, 2013

MANILA, Philippines — Warm weather will prevail even as the whole country will have partly cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly over the eastern section due to easterlies, the state weather bureau said Tuesday.

Easterlies, or winds blowing from the east are affecting the eastern part of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
Moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over extreme Northern Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to occasionally rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east to northeast with slight to moderate seas, it added.
Hot weather will continue as temperature of up to 36 degrees Celsius is forecast in Metro Manila, and up to 37 degrees Celsius is seen in Olongapo and Clark, based on Pagasa’s extended weather outlook.
Monday’s highest temperature in Metro Manila was at 35.7 degrees Celsius recorded at 1p.m.
